my rates are not cheap!.. :)

my pbp campaign is now over 12,000 posts with a cast of 14 players currently.. some play once a week, others several times a day (almost instant messaging!). they all started 1st level and some have reached 7th.
i've split them in 3 groups trying to suit their pace and style of play: some are more demanding in roleplay than others.
keeping a good pace is important to retain interest for the game and also simply to avoid having players forget all about the plot! for combat if a player doesn't reply within an agreed period, I take over his action and rolls but usually they warn ahead of time if they're AFK.

Once the game gets started, I'll probably ask everyone directly how often they're comfortable posting. Combat is going to be fairly rare. A few planned encounters and nothing random. Experience will be based on standard awards and also RP. I also do "extra-credit" rewards, ported over from face-to-face campaigns. Things like campaign-related artwork, in-character journals, etc. I'll post a full list of those when the game gets started.

Ethandrew: Looks good. I like the visual image of the unarmored, two-dagger style, especially with the character's coloring and the mental image half-vamp invokes. We do need a name and background info, however. Also, you may want to pick up a flask of oil or two for that lantern.

I was considering three, as per the PHB starting kit for rogues :D Once her heritage kicks in I want her coloring to become more extreme, a hint of blue through her skin, a touch of red in her eyes, pronounced canines highlight her crooked smile, all from behind the blanket of her chocolate hair. But I'm glad you approve! I have most everything cooked up in my head, it's a matter of getting it down in writing.
