It is basicaly a resumed version of the Living Greyhawk Gazetteer. It is very similar to the old Greyhawk box in contents (although updated to the current events in the Greyhawk setting). You will find a listing and description of the main races inhabiting Oerth and a short description of each of the nations. It does not contain any d20 stats, as such there aren't any prestige classes or deities. As the Gazetteer is Greyhawk the Core Rules races and religions are the standards to this campaign.

It is an ok book, especially if you're interrested using it as a canvas to create your own campaign world not constrained by the huge amount of information available to other worlds in books such as LGG and FRCS.

There are a few gods in the D&D Gazateer - Al'Akbar, Iuz, Pholtus, Rao, and Sehanine Moonbow IIRC.

I use the D&D Gazateer instead of the Living Greyhawk Gazateer, personally. It's less detailed, so more flexible.
