Paging through the d20 Menace Manual and found the following:
1. Somebody in layout loves the legal profession. On pages 101-2, you can find stat blocks for low-, mid-, and high level Attorneys. Then, on pages 113-114, you can find identical stats for low-, mid-, and high-level Lawyers.
2. In the description of the Six-Fingered Hand on page 209, it describes the origins of this wicked cult....
Apparently, the Six-Fingered Hand has always had the goal of destroying the world. In the 1880s, the cult had a reason for this goal that involved some supernatural force called "The Red Death." This devil-like spirit was somehow everywhere and nowhere at once, and it tempted and corrupted people to do terrible things. The Six-Fingered Hand believed the only way to stop this spirit of malevolence was to destroy the world.
A shout-out to Ravenloft fans and Living Death players! Who'd have thought it? Of course, this leads to the question of whether the d20MMverse is set within the context of Masque of the Red Death.
