With tensions in the Middle East growing over the Iraqi weapons programs and the American President pushing for a regime change, the world sits on the brink of war. In early 2003 Iraq stunned the world by proving that it wasn't working on weapons of mass destruction, it was finished with them.
Early one morning in mid March the missles flew, nobody knew why and after three hours of death, no one cared. While stations were in place to detect any missle launches, the tech monitoring the radar was busy reading a popular on-line RPG bulliton board.
Millions, if not billions, died in the nuclear and gas attacks of those first three hours. Most major cities of the world such as New York, LA, Washington D.C., London, Paris, Toyko and others were hit with nuclear missles while others were only hit with gas attacks which killed several but left the cities standing.
Almost every government has collapsed and the world is enbroiled in wars between warlords seeking to hold onto some scrap of land and rise to power.
