[D20Mod] Rollerskating in D20 Modern

How would you implement rollerskating in D20 Modern?

Don't get too complicated.

Off the top of my head, use balance as the governing skill and treat it like drive/ride/pilot i.e. normal usage doesn't require a skill check.

Mechanics: maybe +5 or +10 to the pc's normal movement rate on hard flat surfaces. Minus the same when on broken/soft terrain.

You would have to figure out the DC for various stunts.

And I;d use the same basic rules for in line skating, ice skating, snowboarding, skiing, and skate boarding.

I don't remember seeing the Blade Dancer in D20 Modern, but maybe I just missed it?

Here's a suggesion, let's use the "Malls & Marons" rules:

Inline Skates
These pair of boots have wheels affixed to their soles. When worn, the characters speed
increases by +10, and he receives +2 dodge bonus to his Defense if he all he does during
his round is move double his speed or more.

Skateboard
This popular mode of transportation among teenagers is mainly a board with four wheels
affixed to each corner. When rode, the character's speed increases by +10, and he
receives +2 dodge bonus to his Defense if he all he does during his round is move double
his speed or more. But, unlike inline skates, the skateboard can be used as a weapon
(when not being rode). Though it is medium-sized, the skateboard must be used with two
hands to be an effective weapon.
