Atroclos sidles (as much as a 9ft wall of muscle and bone and sinew can sidle) through the gap amongst the skeletons, keeping his weapon ready. "Seems like they're showing a lot of backbone... and ribcage too..." he murmurs before coming out the other side and seeing Kimet ready to go to work. He moves alongside and sets his weight, ready to lift.

The door lifts upwards as the winch is turned however there is some strong resistance as you push almost as if the door will come slamming down as soon as you release the winch.

From what you can see it is. A strange rope made from the same material as the floor and the walls it quickly vanishes under the floor however. The are no more controls on the other side of the door.

“This isn’t going to hold open,” Kimet noted as they looked through the heavy door. “Did those Templars kill any skeletons?” she asked. “Are there any bones lying around we can wedge into these winches? Maybe retrieve one of the Templars’ swords,” she suggested. “Bring two, one for each winch.”

Hacking off the templars arm is a grizzly task and one that makes alot of mess, the skeletons just seem Unphased by your comings and goings. Once the arms are wedged in the winch and released the door drops a inch or so the bones can be heard splintering and cracking under the strain but they appear to be holding for now atleast.

The door leads to a small anti chamber with an familiar door and winch set up cranking the winch opens the door revealing a 30ft room with a table in the center the walls are all lined with shelves, the shelves are all filled with books and scrolls, glowing stones fitted into the the book shelves themselves, this is possibly a stroke luck as your torch finally burns out you guess you have been here for a hour or so.
