Morvannon turns to see the huge figure make its way through the sludge. Finally got his attention, have we, he thinks grimly as Slardaziel's great blade chops at Magnus.

*be careful what you wish for, eh*
*Yes, thank you, lesson learned.*

Morvannon's eyes flare again, but the twisted cleric of Lauto glances away and is unaffected. Muttering to himself in a vile dialect of Primordial, the half-elf moves nearer to his comrades, drawing the shadows of the Feywild with him.

[sblock=Actions]Standard: Attack Slardaziel with Eyebite. Misses with a 9.
Move: Walk to U-15, retaining concealment from Shadow Walk.[/sblock]

Grakk, seeing his opprotunity for an attack, charges his foe.

[sblock=action]
movement: move to k8 using his movement encounter power
attack: charge to O9: 1d20+9+1 vs AC: 26 for 1d10+11 = 15

AS: regain Avalanche strike :) If the cleric doesn't drop him in his next attack, that's what he'll use next

ooc: As you may have read elsewhere, I'm less than a week away from an intercontinental move. Stress levels are rising fast, so I'm going to put this game on hold for the next two weeks. Feel free to continue making your moves, but I'm not going to promise to update until then.

Magnus stared up at the immense Slardazial, a mad glimmer in his eyes and dirty sweat rolling down his heavy brow. He broke out into a wheezing chuckle as the weirdly coloured writhing mass of fiery tentacles moved with strange fluidity through the air, pulling itself around the stone anchor point between it and the returned cleric. As it oozed closer burning limbs shot out, snakelike, from its wavering mass, grasping and caressing the dessicated skin of Slardazial.

I reckon I'll get back my second wind.

minor: sustain the sphere
move: move the sphere to P12
standard: Flaming Sphere: vs Ref [Target Slardy} (1d20+6 =20)
hits for: Fire Damage (2d6+5=14)

Any creature starting its turn adjacent to the sphere takes 1d4+5 fire damage.

Good luck with the move, I know just how busy something like that can make you. I hope everything goes smoothly for you.

[sblock=DM status update]I'm successfully across the pond, and everything seems to be going smoothly for the moment. I've even got a bit of free time, but the computer I'm posting on is a tiny, tiny netbook that lacks the oomph to run maptool. So, I still can't do combat updates. One of my tasks for the next week is to buy a new computer, which will certainly be capable of combat updates.[/sblock]
