That's an awful lot of water for a desert set. I wonder why they didn't do silt instead of water?

I think it's because the tile set wasn't really designed just for Dark Sun. They just sold it that way to say they had one more product for that campaign world. If both sides of the water tiles and water I would complain but the other side is more desert tiles so they would still be useful. And we can use those water tiles for silt as you say. I am starting to think that all the 3d stuff is a bit of a waste. I rather have more 2D tiles. We can imagine the Z axis just fine.
