The DDM Guild is a global alliance of D&D Miniatures skirmish enthusiasts dedicated to keeping the skirmish game alive and continuing the fun of casual and competitive play in a variety of formats. Wizards of the Coast recently announced that the Guild will be granted a license to continue making skirmish stat cards for future D&D Miniatures releases. In addition, WotC will maintain tournament sanctioning and players' ratings and rankings through the DCI database.
The Guild will launch officially at D&D Experience 2009. However, the Guild plans to begin publication of a quarterly newsletter in December 2008. To that end, we are in need of finalizing the selection of a DDM Guild logo.
Several preliminary ideas have been submitted, but the Guild would like to offer some additional design guidelines, as well as a deadline for submission. All Guild members are welcome to submit designs. Please note the following criteria:

- Full-size version
- Color version
- Black-and-white version
- Icon-sized version (i.e. no more than 1/8 in x 1/8 in)
- White-on-black version on each of the D&D 4e standard colors (cf. the spines of the 4E core rulebooks)
- The logo should work both with the words 'DDM Guild' next to it and without.
- The logo should have some level of compatibility with the DDM Guild coat of arms, designed by Justin Bass of Indiana (see below).
