The adventurers have ventured far to the North. Not much is to be found here except for ice and the biting cold.

Yet, they have managed to find their objective: the entrance to the cave made of ice that the wise witch told them about so many moons ago.

They decide to make camp before going inside, the wizard even managing to conjure up a quick wall around them with what little materials they have left. They desperately try to guard against the icy terrors that lurk beyond.

The party hopes to recover their strength before making the final push. But will they be able to do it?

The murky waters have deeply tired our heroes. Many battles they have fought in this dreadful swamp and their strength is almost gone. Rain starts falling, they don't want to be outside if the storm gets any worse.

They decide to take refuge in some old ruins they saw along their path, making their way back as fast as they can. They barely have any protection against the elements, for the once mighty fortress is now useless rubble.

Yet they set up camp however they camp and hope for the rain to stop quickly.

What other dangers await our heroes in these forgotten walls?

Their journey has brought the brave heroes to a magical cave where powerful nature magic has manifested itself in the form of beautiful and strange vegetation. Wild, magical beasts run amok in this whimsical place that seems to be from another realm entirely.

While some adventurers might see this as an opportunity to have a fantastic time in a seemingly joyful cave, the truth is that sometimes even the most innocent-looking things are the most dangerous.

Will the party be able to explore all of the cave's mysteries before they are swallowed by an energy-draining giant plant?

A long time ago lived a wise, powerful wizard who made his home in a snowy mountain. Even though the wizard didn't live in the city, they made a name for themselves and the folks would look up to the kind wizard for their wisdom.

Soon enough people would make the journey from the city to the wizard's lair to ask for all kinds of advice. The people would often respect the wizard more than their own king!

This of course didn't sit well with the ruler who would like nothing more than the admiration and respect of all of his subjects.

But in the pursuit of knowledge the wizard eventually lost their mind. The search for power was too great and the wizard was deemed a very dangerous threat. Thus the king ordered to seal them and their lair with powerful magic from the royal mages.

Centuries later, the adventuring party has need of this ancient wizard's knowledge. They will need to travel far to the mountain, somehow get inside and then remove all the seals that bind the wizard to their icy tomb.

But will they be able to convince the wizard to help them? Did the wizard really go mad with power or was it all a ruse from the king?

An unfortunate series of events has left our brave heroes stuck in the dark swamp. This is an uncanny place, infamous for the horrific tales that are told about it in the city.

There's talk about all kinds of wicked, gruesome acts being performed in small villages located in these dark woods. Some say there are strange cults that worship even stranger gods in the wilderness. And some even declare that the beings that live in the dark waters are not from this world, but from the deep beyond.

All hearsay of course.

The party of adventurers comes across a settlement in what seems to be the middle of nowhere, they need supplies. Reluctant they go inside, the villagers don't seem at all friendly. They give them a cold stare whenever they pass by. Clearly they don't want them there and the tension between them just keeps on building.

The party tries to get what they need as quickly as possible, but their attempts at buying anything are met with excuses and slammed doors on their faces.

Yet after some time there are some townsfolk who would like them to stay awhile, give them some stuff for their travels with a big grin on their faces. Shady looking individuals who make the skin crawl.

The heroes decide to leave, nothing good can come out of this place. But leaving won't be as easy as coming in. They're now surrounded.

Will they be able to escape unscathed?

The way to the fiery mountain is a treacherous one, rivers of lava flow freely across the landscape and powerful creatures made of fire are ready to destroy any adventurer who dares come this far.

The party carefully navigates the mountain, withstanding the incredible heat and the monsters' attacks. Little by little they make way across this bitter land.

But what will they find up next? Are they any closer to reaching their goal, or will they just wander aimlessly and drown in a river of fire?

Scattered around the icy mountains are old settlements that have been abandoned for years. The adventurers are lucky enough to have found one of such settlements.

They decide to use one of the abandoned buildings to set up camp, try to get away from the biting cold from a little bit. Everything seems quiet, a meal is prepared and everyone seems to enjoy this moment of rest.

But then the warrior on guard duty notices something. In the ice, something moving. The hero runs to their friends to warn them.

What sort of monstrosity will they find outside? And when will they be able to finally get some well-deserved rest?

The rain has been going on for a few days now and unfortunately for our group of heroes there's no settlement nearby where they can go to the inn and dry their boots.

Instead they have to fight this gloomy weather, a weather that has left the forest completely flooded and has made their travels that much more difficult.

Yet our party prevails despite the harsh conditions and their continue their adventure no matter the amount of water beneath their feet. Let's just hope that they're not surprised by any enemies that could take this opportunity to catch them off-guard.

Will they be able to see the end of this downpour?

The party has need to get dirty once again for their travels have brought them to one of the nastiest of places where they can be: the city sewers.

The labyrinthine tunnels of stone are full of nasty stuff that is better left unmentioned, and the fetid odors are enough to make someone wish to be in any other place but here.

Still, the group of heroes has to navigate this awful place and locate the exit that will bring them closer to the guarded place they need to be in.

Can the party be able to navigate this filthy sewage? And did that lump of foulness just move over there?

Along the kingdom's roads one can find many ancient ruins that are constant reminders of civilizations long past. No matter what fate befell them, one can be sure that some of their spirit still remains in these old stones.

Sometimes, with the right incantations, the magic within can be harnessed for the benefit of the weary traveler.

Still, there are times when doing so can prove a dangerous endeavor for no one knows what kind of power lies within. But the adventuring life is one of risks, so why not give it a shot?
