D&D 5E Disamring in 5E

Hey,

just wanted to ask, if there are some new mechanics or statements according to the Disarming rules in 5E.

I haven't found some, so it seems like there's still the problem that any opponent can pickup its weapon as a free action.

Who is using disarming attacks? Have you found them worthwhile?

Regards!

Generally depends on whether your DM allows you to use your object interaction to pick up the dropped weapon, or punt it away.

Otherwise it is best used at higher levels by Fighters: use one attack to disarm, and others to shove your opponent away from their weapon.

You can just as easily use your free item interaction to either pick up the disarmed weapon (if you have a free hand) or to kick it away. Works just fine.
