Disease and Poison Attacks

Howdy.

When a creature has disease or poison as an effect of their attack, does each hit cause more "damage"? With poison, I can see it being a cumulative effect. The more spider venom, the more fortitude saves and potential damage you are going to take. Diseases, on the other hand, might require a fortitude save to not become infected, but once you are infected you can't really become more infected...?

Any clarification would be appreciated.

Thanks,

Poisons: Yes, multiple poisonings stack.

Diseases: I'm not sure, but I would agree with you that once you're infected, you can't get more infected.

Depends for the disease. If there is a "bad room" that anyone going into has a chance of catching a disease. 2 PC's walk through it and 1 of them stops to lick the floor (won't worry about why) one should have a harder time of making the save.

But by the rules I'd say it's only once for disease and 1/per for poison.
