She grins as she tacks the piece of paper to the notice board, challenge accepted and fulfilled to write a poem on cheeses. Of course it's about cheese, the letters beginning the lines prove it.
Could I compare you to a summer's day?
Hardly! You mean much more to me by far,
Even your sharpness won't drive me away,
Do you not see? it makes you what you are.
Deny me not, you suit my taste too well
And others treat you with too small respect
Regarding you as cheap to buy or sell.
Could I do that? I won't, it's incorrect.
Having you here gives richness to my day,
Each crumb I'm granted 's like a piece of gold,
Each touch so smooth makes me forget my way
So I've indulged more than I've ever told.
Ever I'll want you, in that much I'm true,
So do not leave me else you leave me bleu.
