Does attacking end invisibility per RAW?

A lot of monsters have powers that say "turns invisible until end of its next turn". There is no mentioning of any effects that end this condition. What happens if a monster turns invisible and attacks on the same turn?

Don't add rules where none exist :)

If turning invisible requires an action or is an encounter power, then it's probably balanced.

Mind you, as written, the cloak of invisibility is hella broken. I hope it got errata'd.

Most PC powers have this restriction, and I would recommend adding it if your making up your own powers/items/abilities, but there's certainly no general rule about it, no.

Every power that turns a creature invisible states a conditional duration.

Conditional Durations last until the condition for ending the duration is met.

The most commonly used invisibility power for players is Eyebite. It lasts until the beginning of their next turn. If they attack someone before that time (spending an action point, or an opportunity attack) they won't become visible because attacking someone isn't the end-condition for that power. Other powers, on the other hand -do- have that condition.

Do note this: If someone has a power that causes invisibility to expire from making an attack, they're quite visible, but considered unseen until the action is resolved (stealth rules, ergo, combat advantage is retained)
