The bit about "all new items" isn't quite true; the 4e side has the Hedge Wizard's Gloves, Gloves of Storing, Healing Potions, and a suit of coral armor all from existing texts, off the top of my head, and there may be some I'm forgetting. Either way, if I had my druthers there'd be stat-cards for all the items. Given that that is likely unrealistic, go with at least plot important or "big" items.

EDIT: What about Ships stats?

If I get cards, I'd want them to be something I can hand to players at the table. A picture is worth a thousand words, so that would save time at the table having to describe important NPCs. I have the list of NPCs in each adventure for personal DM use.

I'm torn on whether to put names on the cards or not. Having names would make it easy to keep track of who's card it is, but then I couldn't use cards for NPCs I make up myself. I'd err on the side of no names. That way you can hand the card out the first time they see the NPC and learn their name later on.

edit: by "list of NPCs" I mean the adventure document has their names and pictures too.

For the Act Two cards, which it looks like we'll reach, I suffer from the challenge of having to predict how many NPCs will show up in adventures that are still in the planning stage. I assume people don't want me to re-include NPCs from Act One. Time to make a somewhat spoiler-y list.

I was planning to have one set of stats on each side, for the allies and items. We'll see how they turn out.

Now, as for Act Two, we have:

Adventure Six (14) - Alonsa, Benedict, Bruse, Cavallo, Glaucia, Kenna, Lauryn, Melissa, Merton, Pardo, Rush, Surtan, Tinker, Zarkava

Adventure Seven (13) - 7 guys, Vicemi, Cula, Erskine, Merisi, Odul, Vitus

Adventure Eight - ?

Adventure Nine - ?

I'm not sure yet about adventures 8 and 9, but I can figure we won't go above 12 for each of those. So figure 60 portraits. A fair number of items. Hmm.

Here is the list of cards that will be included in Act One NPC, Ally, and Treasure Cards. There will be a total of 120 cards. Two versions will be available - one with the NPC names included, the other lacking them. Those who purchase the cards can just choose which they prefer, while Kickstarter backers will be emailed and asked to choose. We'll default to the cards without names for those who do not respond.

For cards with stats, if we can fit all the stats on one side, then the front will be PF, and the back will be 4e. Some cards will use front and back for PF, requiring a second card front and back for 4e.

Cards will each have a subtle number on the bottom, and we'll include two index cards that list what's on which card.

* The purpose of the theme cards is not so much to provide a full reference for all the 4e powers they get or abilities the theme feats in PF grant, but mostly just to remind players, "Hey, you've got a thing. Don't forget to use it."

Any suggestions for revisions before I start assembling this for Eric to layout? I could remove the 20 red herring portraits and add in more of the 'non-plot-relevant' items. Some of these probably don't end up in the party's hands, at least not long-term, but we could still use them.
