Thank you. I hate the warforged-are-robots concept. They are more like children. 400 pound, adamantium plated children with an advanced grasp of battlefield tactics, but children nonetheless.

I prefer this direction for warforged to the "robot" concept some have:

Sure, it's worth picking up, if the tropes and themes of the campaign will be fun for you and the rest of the group.

If not, there are some rules bits that you may want to mine the supplements for as well, but then we're getting away from the merit of the setting and more into the merit of the book.
