Hexiros looks at Rana hanging from the rampart. "Neat trick," he nods. See anything?
The woman favored him with a dark look, raised brows and an emphatic
shhh! gesture. Obviously she was going to have to remind the blue-scaled menace, at length, exactly what ‘stealth’ and ‘subtlety’ were supposed to mean. (Also – watching him just standing there – what happened to people when bolts and arrows pierced through them).
“
And you can stop preening,” she whisper-advised Spider -- who, it seemed, just
lived for compliments.
Better, she thought, as Dirt Boy snuck in and Guarddog checked their back. Rana still held her breath though, fully expecting a feathered shaft to appear in the center of his dwarven forehead as soon as he peeked into that arrow slit…
… Apparently not.
Breathing again, the old witch held up a finger (one) before pointing through the doors below her (went through there). She leaned down to peek inside through the top corner of the double doors...
Not use to viewing the world upside down quite yet, the old witch noticed nothing out of the ordinary in what was once the grand hall of the keep. Certainly not a bandit horde wating in ambush… Still, *that* made her even more uneasy: the old courtyard was too good NOT to use on incoming intruders… So why hadn’t they?
Troubled, she went to check on the slits looking into the *other* wing, just in case...
OOC: Anything there?
OOC: As well, looking down on the courtyard, any tracks in the dirt and rubble below (leading to and from the well maybe?), EB? Any signs of the mess usually left by a band of gnolls? If there are, she’ll point them out to our more rangery members.
