Ferret Explorer Aug 31, 2007 #2 I've not seen Edward Gorey, but it all looks pretty good. Maybe I'll track him down?

This is a parody of Gorey's work, not actually work done by Gorey. Edward Gorey is known for his unique, ominous, and oftimes macabre drawings, such as those for the opening of the PBS television show "Mystery!" Check him out on wikipedia: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Edward_Gorey

Well, he *has* been dead for seven years, so he's likely easy to track down these days. His work was very funny, in a macabre way. My favorite was, "The Gashlycrumb Tinies." Cute little children, being offed in horrible ways.
