eladrin + 1 magic item 5th edition

Hey


So I am getting the opportunity to play an eladrin elf and have the options to select one rare or uncommon permanent magic item that is not a weapon armor or shield.


So with all this good stuff what would be just an awesome build to go with it.


My first thought is maybe bladesinger with amulet of health so I could be a wizard with some high con.


So please help me out!

Just thinking in metagame, I would choose:

amulet of health
bracer of archery
boots of speed
Belt of hill giant streght
headband of intellect
ring of spell storing
wand of binding
wand of fireballs
wand of paralysis

I second the idea for any magic item that increases your base stat. Since you get it at level 1 you *could* dump that stat to be better elsewhere.

Also, I strongly (also) recommend the Ring of Spell Storing. Just a reminder that you don't HAVE to be a caster to unleash the spells, so you can load up on some utility spells or whatever. It would function as a great "oh crap" item.

Amulet of Health would probably be the first thing I'd look at, for sure. Everyone needs Con, and you'll already be wanting to boost Int & Dex.
