EMPTY ROOM STUDIOS PUBLISHES BLOG

March 7, 2007 (Mayesville, SC) – Empty Room Studios (ERS), provider of high quality illustration and writing services for the creative needs of both large and small publishing companies, has launched their official blog. The blog provides candid information on the lives of the ERS staff, details on studio projects, and general information related to working at Empty Room Studios. With 18 studio members contributing, the blog provides comprehensive information on the daily lives of freelance artists working primarily in the tabletop role-playing game industry and the trials and tribulations of creating exciting visuals for clients and publishers.

Empty Room Studios Owner Rick Hershey commented on what makes this blog unique. "Empty Room Studios has great relationships with dozens of clients and fans, but for the most part our relationship does not travel beyond e-mail and forums, and even then it is either of a business or informative nature. The blog is our chance to let our visitors get to know us and hopefully follow the path we walk in order to create the great art seen in our galleries." said Hershey.

Staff members will update the blog multiple times per week, writing about their lives, projects they are working on, general news, information on studio projects, and any other ideas or thoughts they might want to share. "The truth is artists live strange lives. And we have a lot of artists on staff from different walks of life, upbringing, and age difference who all have stories and ideas to share. I wanted to provide a voice for them to talk about whatever they want, not just about ERS work, but what's going on with them in general. . . I feel this will be a good outlet for all of them and am positive others will find this entertaining," Hershey said.
