Hi everyone, first post here. Having a great time with 5e, but my players don't like bookkeeping encumbrance.
I prefer to use those rules for a lot of reasons:
Anyway, I'm trying to make it easy for them, so I made this spreadsheet:
[[deleted, use link below]]
To use it, click File > Make a copy.
I could use some help from excel gurus, if we have any. How would I concatenate a list of all items with QTY > 0?
Would be a nice way to generate an inventory list to copy/paste into PDF character sheet.
If anyone sees errors, please LMK and I'll try to fix. Thanks!
I prefer to use those rules for a lot of reasons:
- More realistic (no "I'll take the 5000gp and the 3 chests")
- Nice feature for high-STR characters, they don't need to worry as much, can be more useful to party
- More reason to hire henchmen to carry your stuff (more fun to RP, more fun when they meet painful demise)
- More reason to buy horses, mules, etc. (something to spend gold on)
