Setting info: The characters begin play in the Grey Marches in the village of Jagged Falls. The character may be a native of the village or the region or an outsider from the barbaric northlands, the eastern baronies or the southern city states. The Grey Marches, also known as the Free Marches, is a region with sparse villages and small towns. It is known for its cloudiness, hence the grey, vast forests, excessive ruins, and its inclement weather during much of the year. Few choose a life in the northeast. It is difficult and fraught with peril and most not born in the region have an interesting tale as to why they found themselves there.
