Fantasy AGE & TITANSGRAVE Product Info

The 144-page Fantasy AGE core rulebook is now listed on Green Ronin's web store as "coming soon". Billed as "your entry point to tabletop roleplaying", it's the game system that Wil Wheaton's Titansgrave web show is based on. But that's not all - the 96-page setting itself, Titansgrave: The Ashes of Valkana is also listed! With an author list including Keith Baker, Leonard Balsera, Logan Bonner, Matt Forbeck, Will Hindmarch, Jackson Lanzing, Nicole Lindroos, Chris Pramas, Robert J. Schwalb, Mike Selinker, Clark Valentine, Wil Wheaton, Ryan Wheaton, and Ray Winninger it's a superstar lineup! The current best guess for release is Gen Con this year. (thanks to Jennifer for the scoop!)

Actually Ray Winniger was the name that stood out to me. His Dungeoncraft articles in Dragon Magazine influenced my games and settings as much as any other single D&D book/source.
Great to see him involved again (or well, at least since I have seen his name on products - I am sure he has been doing something).

Sorry - once I was toward the bottom of the list I started running out of steam describing accomplishments. :)

I agree about that author list, Henry; it blew me away! Ray Winniger also did a lot of editing work for various companies and, as noted, his Dungeoncraft articles are considered classics by a lot of people.

No wonder Project: Dark is ten months overdue. I'm pretty patient, but it's difficult to see Hindmarch doing all sorts of other projects when he took a hefty chunk of Kickstarter money and has, until now, failed to deliver.

The book is largely focused on the adventures from the show and the aspects of the setting that enable them. It's not a comprehensive worldbook, though that could come afterward. The authors credited for the material in the book also contributed material for the filming of the Ashes of Valkana web show, some of which either isn't included in the episodes or didn't get filmed at all for logistical reasons (there were about four hours of gameplay filmed for each of the 40 minute episodes) so it'll be new and "bonus" material even if people have seen the series.
