Flanker Ability

Can someone explain how the flanker ability of the elocater/tactical soldier works to me? For some reason, I'm reading it and just blanking on how it supposed to work.

A diagram would be most helpful

I haven't read it in a while, but here's my guess from memory:

ooo
axo
obo

x = enemy
a = you
b = your buddy

Flanker allows you to do this:

oAo
axo
obo

x = enemy
a = you
A = position you are flanking from
b = your buddy


Does that look right?
