Forceful Hand questions

How does Bigby's Forceful Hand work? It seems a bit ambiguous. I assume it bull rushes the target on the caster's turn every round until the spell ends, but can't the target just move away from it on their turn? They can't go straight, but cant they go sideways and around? Over or under it? (all because of the weirdness of the turn based movment in the game)

The person can still attack through the hand? (though the caster has cover) Does this mean they can use ranged weapons through the finger gaps or something?

What happens if you are pushed into a wall with the hand? Are you pinned/trapped there if you can't win the bull rush?

Hm. The hand's movement seems to be reactive; it moves when the target moves, rather than on your turn.

It works like interposing hand (except where specified otherwise), which gives cover "regardless of where you move or how the opponent tries to get around it," so apparently not.

Cover just provides +4 AC against both melee and ranged attacks so yeah, you can still hit the caster somehow.

Hm, it moves with you so it probably won't let you escape to the side... So it certainly seems you're trapped there if you can't win the bull rush.

Yeah, but interposing hand was a little vague too.

Even if it moves on the opponents turn to move "with" the opponent, I assume it only does one bull rush every round on the caster's turn?

What happens if you try and move sideways? Does this have the effect of keeping you on the surface of a sphere? You can move in a circle on your turn around the caster, but can't get any closer?

What if you move a bit away? Does the hand follow you again, in effect increasing the radius of the sphere you are stuck on?

Is the bull rush always directly away from the caster?
