Brandon says that he can make it after i finish with draft so we can both be there around 930-10 if you want to try and pull something together. If not I'll see you next week.

OK, it looks like nobody is interested in journeying to Mt. Korliss. I will let my guest player know we won't be needing him and I will just plan to use him for something else. At this point I won't have the opportunity to plan anything else out anyway. I guess that will push our picking up at the Ternell Complex forward a couple of weeks.

I had been kind of planning to have a few weeks to plan for that, but I might be able to accelerate that a bit more.

First of all, welcome to our new player. The idea of a rugged survival type might be a good idea. We have a tendency to do dumb things and die frequently so we may need somebody to make it back to civilization and tell our shortened tale. Please make it sound good. You'll be amazed at what we don't accomplish.

Secondly - Brother Oceas was interested in going to Mt Korliss and gathering what knowledge and info he could to bring back to the church. Oceas also read some of the historical accounts of that long ago battle by the heroes of Greerson and would like to follow up his study of that time by venturing to Mt Korliss and seeing for himself whether there are any strange anomalies there as there was at Mt Ternell. As some members of the party were going to stay at Mt Ternell and train (and heal the dragon) it seemed like the perfect opportunity to explore a little on behalf of the church, himself and the group.

I don't think I want to try to run a solo adventure for Oceas to try to make it to Mt Korliss. At one point it sounded like we would have a solid group undertaking that journey. But for one person it really loses any impact and would potentially leave you quite dead. Let's just wait until some other point in the campaign when everyone is a little interested and I have the opportunity to plan it well.

Mike here,

Welcome Meowzebub! Sorry I didnt post this earlier!

Just a quick overview of the party so you know what we do have. There is a sun mage, a favored soul, a scout, a druid, a martial artist, and a shaman. A ranged combat specialist would be nice but then again so would some front line power. But more spells never hurt. So its really up to what you want to play.

It looks like truck night is changing again soon but i think that its going to saturday night, i hope, and i will still be able to play.

Thanks for that, I was wondering, 'He already welcomed me in an earlier post'. And thanks for the update. As things go (with a LOT of greatly appreciated help from David), I designed more of a support role until he finds his niche. He can fight and he can lob missiles but he is not a tank, nor an archer. But he should be fun. Got to work on his background this week.

I will be out of touch till Friday down in Carlsbad, so till then everyone have a good week and I look forward to meeting you all.

How good is your memory?

Or your notes?

A little bonus for you guys.

25 bonus exp for each NPC you have met at the Ternell Complex. That includes name and a brief summary of who they are/what they do.

250 bonus exp if you can post a description/narrative/whatever of what the journey up to the Shrine of the Sword was like.

250 bonus exp if you can sum up why you brought a dragon with you to the Ternell Complex.

250 bonus exp if you can summarize the notable events of the Seekers of Legend.

This will help our new player get up to speed on the game. And it rewards those that have been keeping good notes.

Oh, did I mention this is on a first post basis? I do, however, retain the option to reward additional exp for those that might come in late to the party.

Well, things are still a little crazy around here. My car it still wonkey, no news form the shop (apparently they get very busy with new students driving into town), and so this Friday is looking unlikely... If I here differently, I'll post. ON the other hand, I'm finally catching up online, so I should be posting more soon.

At one point, David mentioned to me about having pizza for everyone on Friday nights. There's a place close to us called Papa Murphy's Pizza that is a take and bake place and pretty cheap. If you wanted to get one pizza, everyone would only have to chip in a dollar. If you want two pizza's it would be two dollars. Is there interest for this Friday?

*raises hand* I am almost always up for pizza!

Geoff, Guard of the Shrine of the Sword - One of ranking members of the populus of the Ternell Complex. He is a guard/warden of the city and met us outside the city gates the morning that we approached it. He is the one that told us the stories about the place. He seems to be like a warden of the city or something.

250 bonus exp if you can post a description/narrative/whatever of what the journey up to the Shrine of the Sword was like.

The entire path is well maintained and has several resting spots for groups to stop. We were warned not to leave the path which we followed fairly well. At one point we stopped at a small pool next to the path and a few of the group memebers looked into the pool and almost fell in and became dazed and confused (like thats not normal?) From there we got to a house in the middle of the path and there was an old man out in front of the building who asked "Which would you choose in your fight against evil a sword or a shield" and we all had to answer before we could pass. Tyrm made this difficult by arguing with the guy that both were of equal merit. After passing through the house we met a angel at the mouth of a cave who said that we could enter the cave and contenue our journey but not to step from the path as he would hate to have to come set us free. (is death really that bad of an option?) While going through the cave it was pitch black (even to Tyrm who has darkvision) and we shuffeled forward slowly. A voice talked to the druid and told him to push the scout into the pit infront of him and he almost did. About this time there was a battle off to the side that we could not see at first but once we looked we saw a knight fighting some vile deamon creature. In the end the knight lost be he gave us time enough to get out on the other side of the cave. Then it was just one short more walk until we arrived at the Shrine of teh Sword, which is a shrine in a clearing at the top of the mountian. When you enter the shrine it is rather simplistic with just places to sit down and rest and then there was a smallish cave that you could climb upinto and there was a sword that was burried in the rock of the mountain and said to be the sword of Ternell. After spending some time up there we headed back down the mountain and strangely the "evil" cave was not evil this time. In fact it wasnt even there. The whole trip up and back took one maybe two days total, which is odd as it is a large mountain and we had to climb all of it.

250 bonus exp if you can sum up why you brought a dragon with you to the Ternell Complex.

We brought the dragon to the Ternell Complex because it is a good aligned dragon and we were hoping that the clerics here would be able to revive it as it had been drained by a necromantic life drainging ship mechanisim that drains the life of things to power the vile ship. Tyrm lit the boat on fire so i couldnt be used again

250 bonus exp if you can summarize the notable events of the Seekers of Legend.

Mom needs computer so ill finish this in a few.
