Goblins Colour A Bad Move?

Do you prefer the new, coloured Goblins or the old, B&W Goblins?

Since Goblins has gone colour, I've gotten a few emails telling me that they prefer the quaintness of B&W. And last night I received an email suggesting that I go to a forum and take a poll on the subject. So here I am.

Thanks, this'll be a big help for me.

Is this asking whether we prefer color art vs. B&W art... regardless of the actual color of the creature? Why would this be especially important for goblins compared to any creature for you?

It's "Goblins", the webcomic, not "goblins", the creatures :).

As to the question, no idea. I cannot see that webcomic without reconfiguring my browser, which I won't do.

Are you saying that you can't see the whole comic, or just the latest update? I'm asking because, with the latest update, I've switched from jpg to png format.

While the content is still funny, I'd much prefer that it stay in B&W, as the whole point is its life through their eyes. It made it rather ironic and more humorous to think a Goblin sees everything, even himself, in B&W.

I see exactly this:

Well, if I look at the options that are given in the link at the top of the page, I guess it's this:

2. Your browser has been set to not leave referrers.
Symptoms: Your images load up as blank white images or nothing at all. None of your images work... Not your banner, not your comics either.

Diagnosis: Browsers such as Mozilla Firefox can be configured to not send referrers, which trips up Keenspace's Anti-hotlinking system.

Suggested Cure: Set your preferences so they leave referrers for Keenspace sites.

As I don't have any problems with any other webcomics, I will not reconfigure my browser to accommodate some "Anti-hotlinking system", whatever that is *shrug*.

Anti-hotlinking is a means to prevent hotlinking, obviously. So, what then is hotlinking:

Bandwidth theft or "hotlinking" is direct linking to a website's files (images, video, etc.). An example would be using an <IMG> tag to display a JPEG image you found on someone else's web page so it will appear on your own site, journal, weblog, forum posting, etc.

Right. I fail to see, though, why a system has to be set up in a way that it prevents all images from showing up without the browser sending referrers?
