There are tons of kings, tax collectors, and housewives in fiction- I guess they should be considered for a base class. The fact that there are guilds of assassins says to me it makes for a perfect PrC- not a base class. Especially when you consider that almost every existing base class could be hired to perform an assassination. However- I have read Assassin Mountain and thought it was well done. I trust the game designers and will give the product a chance. Worst case scenario- I have a new class for npc's to throw at the pc's. FD

W Warchild First Post Jul 5, 2002 #13 Welll, the book also has prestige classes, so you can go any route. I personally hope they go more into the business and world of assassins (and the politics that go with them), not just mechanics. Although i like them too!
