Help needed with unseen seer build

Hi all,

I'm building a backup character for the campaign I'm in (I already sought advice for my current character and I'm gratefull for the help that was provided).

For this backup character I decided to finally give it a try with arcane magic since I have never done it before. The combo I have my eye on is rogue/wizard/unseen seer.

Due to insane stat generation method I have two 18s which will go into dex and int. For the race I've already picked human for the extra feat and the possibility to take able learner feat.

The build I have in mind:
1) rogue
2-6) wizard that specializes in conjuration, taking that alternative class feature that grants you bonus figter feats instead of scribe scroll and other wizard feats at levels 5,10 ...
I plan to replace scribe scroll with improved initiative and to replace the 5th level wizard feat with granted power of the oracle domain (+2 caster level for divination spells) - this option is in complete champion.
7+) ten levels of unseen seer

Spells I intend to pick up via unseen seer are: hunter's eye and grave strike which leaves the third spell open (need suggestion about this one).

The main thing I need help with are feats. With two flaws and human at level 12 that would be 8 feats + improved initiative (traded scribe scroll) + oracle domain granted power (traded bonus wizard feat). The only ones that are set in stone are Able Learner and Practiced Spellcaster.

Should I take Arcane Thesis for one of the orb spells and then go with empower, maximize, twin and such stuff or is it unnecessary considering sneak attack output of this character?

Books allowed include pretty much anything published by wotc.

Thanks in advance.

Tally Ho !

Unseen Seer often seems a way better non caster class, exp to get hard to get things like skirmish. By far one of the best skirmish upping classes along with hand of the winged masters. 4 Scout, 1 Sorc/WuJen/etc then 'Hand of the Winged Masters', 'Unseen Seer' is a powerful build I had sprung on me. Your going for more a caster bent tho so I would say..
4 Scout, ! Sorc, Hand of the Winged Masters, Unseen Seer
Interseting and sweet build but I would mitigate some of the bad. Unseen Seer looses alot of CL from its levels.. You will need practiced spell caster to cover the loss but that only covers 4 levels. Further a 1 dip of rogue can be better spent on getting more casty/cool/thievy goodness.

1 Spellthief gives the sneak att. of rogue but also the steal spell ability AND it opens up the complete scoundrel feat 'master spellthief' covering CL dramas and alowing you to drain high level spells and not suffer the stamina issues of other caster builds.

For the wizard levels I would look to 3 wiz levels (with your improved init swap) and then the 'Master Specialist' (conj:complete mage). You seriously need not boost divination so much, it will be already thru master specialist removing the caster level dramas and CL for divination is rarely relevant.

Then a 4 lev dip into Unseen Seer to get the cherries w.o the bitter after taste.
Then 5 level dip of 'Spellwarped Sniper' (complete scoundrel) cream on top.
These 2 alone well scattered should make Able Learner un-needed.

Some Master Specialist filler and post Fill to Epic.

Master Spell Thief covers the practiced spell caster need and opens up MANY options, Arcane Thesis is only good when there are spells the DM allows work 24/7 ... if not no, if yes get it.
Split Ray and Twin are prob better options than Empower for this build (extra crit chances..... 18th lev imp.crit (ray) would be worth it.

Epic Master Specialist 10th will give you a free quicken each round.
