Help with errata on Manyshot

Demon Knight

First Post
I had heard that this feat had been errated, but since I cant download stuff from WOTC (im on webtv), I cant find the errata. If anyone here is kind enough to post the errata for me here, I would be most appreciative.

What sourcebook does manyshot come from? I don't recall, but I did find this on a revision spotlight on the Wizards site. Apparently it's a revised edition feat, so it may not be what you're looking for.

Manyshot [General]

You can fire multiple arrows as a single attack against a nearby target.

Prerequisites: Dex 17, Point Blank Shot, Rapid Shot, base attack bonus +6.

Benefit: As a standard action, you may fire two arrows at a single opponent within 30 feet. Both arrows use the same attack roll (with a -4 penalty) to determine success and deal damage normally (but see Special).

For every five points of base attack bonus you have above +6, you may add one additional arrow to this attack, to a maximum of four arrows at a base attack bonus of +16. However, each arrow after the second adds a cumulative -2 penalty on the attack roll (for a total of -6 on the third arrow and -8 on the fourth).

Damage reduction and other resistances apply separately against each arrow fired.

Special: Regardless of the number of arrows you fire, you apply precision-based damage (such as sneak attack damage) only once. If you score a critical hit, only the first arrow fired deals critical damage; all others deal regular damage.

A fighter may select Manyshot as one of his fighter bonus feats.

A 6th-level ranger who has chosen the archery combat style is treated as having Manyshot even if he does not have the prerequisites for it, but only when he is wearing light or no armor.

Assuming that you mean using this feat under the current 3.0 rules, I think so. You would get your 1 standard action + a partial for haste (standard action without the move.) So you could do it twice.

As for under the revised edition, I don't know yet.

3.0 Manyshot

manyshot, in 3.0 at any rate, appears in the 'non-epic feats' section of the ELH, page 70.

Manyshot [General]
you can fire multiple arrows as a single attack at a nearby target.

prerequisites: dex 15, BAB +6, point blank shot, rapid shot

benefits: as a standard action, you may fire two arrows at a single opponent within 30 ft. both arrows use the same attack roll to determine success (with a -2 penalty on the attack and deal damage as normal, see below). for every 5 points of BAB above +6, you may add one additional arrow to this attack, to a maximum of four arrows at BAB +16 and higher.

special: regardless of the number of arrows you fire, you only apply precision-based damage (such as sneak attack damage or the ranger's favored enemy bonus) once. if you score a critial hit, only one of the arrows deals critical damage (your choice); all others deal normal damage.

Thanks.

So since its a standard action, a hasted archer can use Manyshot twice in one round, effectively getting twice as many attacks?

If you're going to use the 3.5 version of Manyshot, you should also use the 3.5 version of Haste, which removes the bonus partial action, instead granting other bonuses.
