Actually, it might not be the online (Amazon and DDI) portion alone.

Keep in mind that in 4e, there so far has been a complete separation between "this book is for GMs" and "this book is for players".

If you were a player in 3e, every book was a potential source of inspiration in the form of every book having a new class, new prestige class, new spell, new feat, new race etc.

Basically, every player and DM needs the 3e FRCG.

Contrast this with 4e. There's absolutely NO reason for a player to pick up the DM book for the Realms. Indeed, if all you're interested in is simply the crunch, DDI has it all so there's little reason to pick it even the player's book.
