Hobgoblin Warcaster Force Pulse Question

I just want to make sure I am doing this right.

Is the HG Warcasters force pulse an AoE spell that hits everyone in the 5x5 block, or does it just hit 1 person in that 5x5 block? Also if it does hit everyone does everyone get pushed around, or just the primary target?

Here is the text of the ability:
Force Pulse(standard; recharge 6) * Force
Close blast 5; +7 vs Reflex; 2d8 +4 force damage; and the target is pushed 1 square and knocked prone. Miss: Half damage, and the target is neither pushed nor knocked prone.

Everyone in the 5x5 block gets hit, and everyone gets pushed. It just says 'target' cause you have to roll the attack against each target in the blast.

Gotcha, thanks. Yea it was the "target" wording that was throwing me off.

It also says "target" because you roll attacks vs each target seperately in 4e.
