How important to you is maxing your primary stat?

I'm firmly in the 18 and a feat clan.

It's only if you starve your hit with SS/GWM that you'd need 20, but I don't really care about level 12 since the RP concept might evolve differently.

And anyway, boosting your DPR only forces the DM to adjust the encounters.
