How to gain the Earth Subtype

I'm sorry I am unable to use the search funtion for whatever reasons, so bear with me if i ask a FAQ...

How does one gain the Earth subtype? I have seen feats giving characters the sky subtype, but never earth. Answers? Questions? Ideas? help...

For a temporary gain of the subtype, Polymorph, Polymorph Any Object and Shapechange should work. PAO may be permanent depending on original and final forms.

Elemental Savant sounds about right, if you are playing an arcane caster.

FR's Underdark has a 6th level sorcerer/wizard spell, called mineralize warrior (page 59). This spell grants the Mineral Warrior template (page 96), which can be applied to any corporeal creature that isn't a construct, undead or elemental. Among the more subtle things this template grants is the earth subtype.
