Ok, I am confused about the Rangers Hunter's Quarry ability:
1) Does it "Add damage" to an attack you make?
2) Is it an auto hit ability (no to hit roll, no save, nothing)?
3) Does it have to be applied against the opponent your attacking with your other shots/strikes in the round or can it be applied to one target while your shooting at a totally different target?
I think the parts where it says "you deal extra damage" and "you decide which attack to add the extra damage to" are why I am confused at what it is saying.
---------------------------------
Hunter’s Quarry
Once per turn as a minor action, you can designate the
enemy nearest to you as your quarry.
Once per round, you deal extra damage to your
quarry. The extra damage is based on your level. If
you can make multiple attacks in a round, you decide
which attack to apply the extra damage to after all the
attacks are rolled.
The hunter’s quarry effect remains active until the
end of the encounter, until the quarry is defeated, or
until you designate a different target as your quarry.
You can designate one enemy as your quarry at a
time.

Thanks,
Kristov
