It's a group of people who take populiar songs or make up music and attach lyrics that deal with sci-fi or fantasy. While the range of talent is highly varied, for the most part I'd have to rate it as undesirible.

Well, I write song parodies as a hobby, but I do do some filking... Really only three I can think of though;

D-and sign-D (parody of YMCA (going to change it to RPGA but haven't gotten around to that yet)).

Deathstar (parody of all star)

pretty fly for a jedi (pretty fly for a white guy. None of my songs are great, but this one is REALLY bad. A: The idea has probably been done already. B: No one wants to hear my sing "Give it to me Ani" under any circumstances and C: it just sucks...)
