It allows you to load any living tabletop from a local file or YouTube link as your game board, scale it to the size you need it, and play upon it with a fog of war and custom grid.

I'm hoping to develop a full tool for importing animated assets, freely click drag sizing them and snapping them together all in your own browser.

Sadly your link is no longer working, for me at least, but I would be interested in seeing your tool and trying it out, since I am looing for a browser plugin of sorts to do exactly what you are describing, with fog of war as the most important option and the grid option as a nice to have when needed

Links to his free maps. Sadly, it looks like he has stopped making them - the latest one is June of last year. Still, you can grab access to four pretty good dynamic maps.
