Pathfinder 2E [IC] JM's "Doomsday Dawn" Playtest Party#1 Chapter#1

Radaceus

Adventurer
'Da bog of etoinal stench!!!' Narkle exclaimed, as if he knew about the slime, but really he just makes stuff up to appear as if he is knowledgeable.

the goblin recites a fiery incantation, a ball of fire appears in his hand and he lobs it at the creature. He then scrapes some of the filth from himself.

GM: Just missed a crit by 1. Urik is screening the ooze granting it a +1 circumstance bonus to AC/TAC. And the monster's AC is a big old 5. Still, the fire damage does some harm but it still seems relatively healthy, for an ooze.

Waiting on Corwin

As the tidal wave of muck recedes, Corwin charges forward in slow motion, hampered by the fetid sewage as he charges. He strikes once, twice successfully against the slime monster.
Hiromi managed not to get slimed and darts forward hitting the creature with her rapier.
Snarkle casts a spell that sends a bolt of fire into the slime. He then wipes some of the goo off his clothes.
Jericho wipes all the goo off his clothes and readies some kind of bomb
Urik pushes forward and delivers what would normally seem like a killing strike but the slime just doesn't have vital organs it seems.

The ooze cannot see but it definitely felt the thundering stomps of Corwin's charge. A pseudopod forms and the slime strikes at Corwin but misses him completely.

GM: It rolled a 3 on the die.

Ooze: AC: 5, TAC: 5, HP: 12/40, condition: too stupid to flee

Initiative order.
The Ooze 19 missed Corwin
Corwin 16
Hiromi 13
Snarkle 5
Jericho 3
Urik 24

Time for the party to mop up. :)

FitzTheRuke

Legend
She had no idea what this creature was, but it was gross and it seemed to be easy enough to chop into pieces. She poked at it again and again with her rapier, hoping it would stop wiggling before it tried that pseudopod thing on her.

OOC:
I'd try for a flank, but I suspect it can't be flanked. Or sneak attacked. I dunno maybe?
A1: Strike: 1D20+5 = [2]+5 = 7
1D6+4 = [1]+4 = 5

A2: Strike: 1D20+0 = [11]+0 = 11
1D6+4 = [5]+4 = 9

A3: Strike: 1D20-5 = [4]-5 = -1
1D6+4 = [1]+4 = 5
Haw! Still not a crit fail, though.

FitzTheRuke

Legend
Flicking the last bits of goo off of the end of her blade, Hiromi smiled at the others and said, "That was fun!"

Then she realised that she was the only one who had not been splattered with corrosive goo. So she shut her mouth and began to poke around the hole that led to the goblin lair, looking for snares or alarms.

Up the little staircase that curves to the west. Distant sound on hooting and cheering can be heard. Several goblin voices are having a good time doing... something.

Kaodi

Hero
"Eyugh," grumbles Urik as he brushes the goo, the bite of which has fortunately fizzled out, from his person. He shoots Narkle a bit of a look, saying, "How did you not know about this ooze?" All the same once his is gotten as much of the slime off as he can manage he get into place to ascend the stairs. But this time the morningstar stays in hand.
