the swash is very underpowered....thus this as a feat would add flavour(imo) to any gamer roleplaying an intelligent twf fighter. taking the swash just for that is a waste of levels for me.

thats why im asking.

thanks to all of you who replied!

final:
Insightful Strike
Prerequisites: Weapon Finesse, Combat Expertise, BAB+4, INT15+
Benefit: you add your intelligence modifier to your damage. This works only when using a light or finesse-able weapon. Creatures immune to critical hits are also immune to this ability.

It's still way too powerful for a basic feat...It should be capped.

Basically as is, a warblade could take this and with a 1 lv dip in swordsage at level 6 end up adding 1.5xstrength +1x dex +2xint mod and have reach and combat expertise with a spiked chain.

Total of 6 feats. Exotic weapon, weapon finesse, combat expertise, shadow blade, funky superint feat, and combat reflexes.

So my example 16str, 18dex, 17Int base character would be doing strikes for around 2d4 +5d6 +21 (42 avg)or so after you count the +1 energy weapon, and 3 +2stat items. Plus he would have reach, and 5 AoOs per round, and auto flank any opponent who had another ally adjacent to him. 42 damage per hit is a shitload for a 9th level character who isn't poweratacking or critting.
