Invisibility to animals. Is it too good?

What should happen when a character with invisibility and invisibility to animals attacks a non-animal creature?

Do they become visible but remain invisible to animals, or do they become visible to all creatures?

Invisibility to animals goes poof as soon as you attack anyone, just the same as regular invisibility.

Not only that, but

If a warded character touches an animal or attacks any creature, even with a spell, the spell ends for all recipients.

In our adventuring career with a ninth-level druid, we've had occasion to use this spell exactly once. It's not a particularly overpowered spell in most campaigns, I think.

Right. My druid prepared it exactly once and tried to use it... then the DM had suddenly decided that THESE animals had Int 6.

Basically, the spells' effects are judged separately - so a condition that would end either one, would end both at the same time.
