Is it possible to download many posts?

What I'd like to do is search for all posts by a poster within a thread and get the full posts instead of links to the posts, preferably as a downloadable file. Is this possible? Following links is okay if there's a small number of posts but is tedious in the extreme if there are very many.

I have in mind Story Hour threads and similar for this.

I believe you're best served by a forum crawler type of software. That is, a separate program you download and install, and then instruct to browse the (sub)forums of your choice to download every post.

Then you can search the contents of your hard drive (in the resulting folder).

(I am well aware that for an nontechnical person this answer is effectively the same as "no". Sorry)
