Is Luck of Heroes balanced?

Gah, this thread went two years without anyone mentioning prayer, so I thought I'd be the first to mention it, but at the very end of the thread it comes up. I mean prayer, doesn't this get cast all of the time, especially at lower levels where a +1 is actually a big deal?

ANywho, I am the jabroni that started this. Jeez, I miss Spikey Freak and KAren's Dad, they were smart guys.

My final opinion on this was that it was okay. Better most of the time (2/3's) but not good enough so that you had to take it.
