JUST BOUGHT KEEP ON THE SHADOWFELL FROM BARNES & NOBLES

Well I was supposed to have a birthday party today but everyone cancelled.....(My actual birthday was a few days ago but no one could get off work then either..) So I went to the mall this morning to visit the game shop and see if they had a preview copy of the KotS.

After looking at it I decided to leave the mall. On the way out I decide on a whim to visit Waldenbooks and see if they had put it out early. Got lucky and snagged a copy.

It's a whole page of text but here is one I had not seen before:

Petrified
You have been turned to stone.
You can't take actions.
You gain resist 20 to all damage.
You are unaware of your surroundings.
You don't age.

Blinded
You grant combat advantage.
You can't see any target (your targets have total concealment).
You take -10 penalty to perception checks.
You can't flank an enemy.

Deafened
You can't hear anything.
You take a -10 penalty on perception checks.

Dominated
You're Dazed.
The dominating creature chooses your one action. The only powers it can make you use are at-will powers.

Marked
You take a -2 penalty to attack rolls if your attack doesn't include the creature that marked you.

Dazed
You grant combat advantage.
You can take either a standard action, a move action, or a minor action on your turn (you can also take free actions). You can't take immediate actions or opportunity actions.
You can't flank an enemy.

You grant combat advantage.

The status of my Amazon preorder just changed to "shipping soon"...hope that means it will ship before the 20th.

Grrrr! Starting to get very cross now. FLGS says "it ships on 20 May so they'll get it on Wednesday or Thursday". Grrrr! Stop going on about having it!!!!

I guess that comes of living in a complete backwater like England.

Okay, I was wrong earlier when I said it was bogus. I went to Waldenbooks at my mall today and got a copy. While it wasn't on the shelf yet, I did get the salesgirl to go into the back room and get me a copy. While she grabbed mine, she got a stack to put on the shelves. I thought I'd try my luck and ask for the core books, but she said that they had a very strict steet date for those and could not sell them. Not sure if she had them in the store or not.
