King Arthur d20 - Not Necessarily Pendragon d20

A "returned Arthur" setting that was mighty cool was the DC Comics mini-series Camelot 3000. Basically, King Arthur and the reincarnated Knights of the Round Table vs. Morgan LeFay, Mordred and tons of aliens! Arthur wielding Excalibur and a laser gun! Whoot!

Does the Arthurian legends go that sometime when England is in need he will return? Or is this just some kind of embellishment I picked up somewhere?

Yes. The Arthurian Cycle ends with Arthur, mortally wounded at the battle of Camlann, being taken by four queens to the mystical Isle of Avalon on a barge, there to remain and recover from his wound "until Britain's time of need." It is for this reason that T.H. White named his marvelous novel of Arthur "The Once and Future King".

Interesting to see this old discussion. I'm considering adapting Stafford's "King Arthur Pendragon" to Pathfinder rules.
