L1: Strange Doings (Erekose13 Judging)

The is not anything immediately notable about the area, only the normal detritus of farm life: A broken crate supporting a soil filled bucket, a pile of split rails, a discarded length of chain, and so forth.[/sblock]

[sblock=Manon]Though obscured somewhat by trees, Manon can make out a large figure in one of the Nam's pastures.[/sblock]

Jallembo looks at the bucket checking whether the soil is recent or old.
He checks round the house, through the windows if he can, and goes
back to the farmers to tell them he's found nothing. He'll offer to go
inside their house again. If they refuse, he'll just go back to his barn,
yawning a bit.

also is it moving around or whats it doing?

Late at Night

[sblock=Jallembo and Garrit]Jallembo makes a search the area. He finds footprints. [sblock=Jallembo]Jallembo's own footprint's from his night foray.[/sblock]
Nearer to the wooded area he finds, a patch of dirt witch has been recently disturbed.[/sblock]

[sblock=Manon]It is extremely dificult to make out. It merely on shadow amongst other. With careful examanimation it can been determined the it is moving, and seems somewhat human shaped.[/sblock]

taking a moment to wake the others, manon decides its time to investigate. keeping an eye out of the loft on the figure moving about, he quietly wakes razin and ximix. keeping a finger over his mouth to ensure their silence and pointing at the figure beyond the trees. once they are aware of the situation he slowly begins to creep out of the loft and tries to sneak up on the figure as best he can. moving stealthily thru the night to get a good view of whatever it is. his dagger drawn and ready just in case he may need it.

manon will simply creep out and try and get a good view of whatever is sneaking around out there.

hum, the soil in the bucket.. is it coming from this patch?
he thinks. He checks it out. If nothing is obvious (tracks, same
volume of soil, etc.) he'll ask Garrit to come and help dig the patch.

OOC: Ximix will of course be doing the Elf-sleep thingy - more of a meditation than true sleep.

Rising from his rest, Ximix begins quietly strapping on his swordbelt and takes up his shield. His spells are completely exhausted after last nights castings and he quietly berates himself for leaving the group unprepared... As stealth is not the priest's forte, he starts to make a wide circle around the area where the intruder was indicated, intending to cut them off should they flee.

Peering into the gloom, his naturally keen eyesight takes in the little star-light and amplifies it, he moves quietly (MS=17) and tries to make out who is hiding in the woods (spot=16).

[sblock=Garrit and Jallembo]The dirt is loose to some distance, at least a foot or two[/sblock]

[sblock=Manon, Ximix, Razin]The figure is still difficult to make out, but appears that it is probably humanoid.[/sblock]
