Character level 30, and he took Cleric-10/Druid-20? That's kinda bizzare. There's a pretty fair amount of overlap between the two classes, and they don't stack spellcasting. A Druid-3/Wizard-3/Mystic Theurge-10/Arcane Heirophant-10/Archmage or other PrC-4 I could understand (Wildshape as Druid-13, cast as Druid-23, cast as Wizard-27.... take Practiced Spellcaster twice and casts much like Druid-27 and Wizard-30)

On his person?

Well, assuming he didn't go with Vow of Poverty or some such, he should probably have a big +Wisdom item. Possibly some nifty metamagic rods. Someplace to store things (A Portable hole or three, maybe). Wilding armor, of course, if he goes with armor at all (and at those levels, you usually don't, due to mega dex-increases, and the importance of touch AC). Possibly a bunch of Pearls of Power.

Hard to judge, really, as Epic tends to be a bit fiat on the wealth levels.

I agree with Jack, though that assumes that you spend almost all your feats to take prestige classes and excel in caster level. If you did go that route, you could be a summoning specialist wizard with the variant from UA.

All that aside, I'm a big fan of metamagic quicken rods. Thats before considering you are a double caster. I'm not sure about wealth but say three minor, one or two normal so you can quicken up to 6th level spells. That's as good as you would get with the quicken spell feat and extra spell slots using your epic level feats.

I agree with Jack that it's astoundingly suboptimal to take Clr 10/Dru 20. I could understand Dru 29/Clr 1 for divine metamagic, though.

Is it your intent to build an Elminster-like NPC that does not actually engage in fights at its own EL and instead helps out younger adventurers?

Its not for spell casting stacking

you can use Clearic spells for heals and Druid spells to sub. party dmg when needed

its basicly just a healing character with medium dmg

almost forgot both the classes work on wis so its eazyer to get gear for one stat
then say int, wis or cha, wis

Ever found your self with out a warrior, ie got knocked out, or something to that effect ?

A druid makes a decent back up warrior with elemental forms, maybe not for long but long enought to get your party out of a situation and get the tank rezed, then you still have all your Clearic spells to heal with consitering if you have still spells prepaired, roots ranged dmg spells..... Another pluss is that all your spells come from wisdom also you get turn undead and all that good stuff.

btw this isnt my character its some one in my groups, the reason for the post is we were trying to find out roughly what items he should look for once he its 30s his class brake down is going to end up being 25 druid 15 clearic

Which, as I pointed out, you can do just as well (probably much better, actually) with a Druid 29/Clr 1.

Well, it's your party.
