Arnwyn First Post Aug 9, 2005 #1 According to the MM/SRD, the lich has a "touch attack" (noted as "Touch +x melee"). Is this an actual melee touch attack (ie. ignores armor, etc) or just a description of how it attacks? (I'm assuming it's the latter.) Thanks for any help!

the Jester Legend Aug 9, 2005 #2 It's an actual touch attack (as in, ignores armor). If the lich had to penetrate armor, it would be called a slam.

Infiniti2000 First Post Aug 9, 2005 #3 It's an actual melee touch attack that deals 1d8+5 negative energy damage and paralyzes the target on a failed save. A lich with a natural weapon attack could combine the two, but the natural weapon attack is not a touch attack.
