Here's a great idea that someone posted in my original thread in the Rogue's Gallery:
Looking at the picture that fits perfectly, with the blade of the sword maybe being hollow and allowing the alchemist's fire to be pumped from a reservoir in the armor, oozing out of the "holes" in the blade and bursting into flames.

If he really does wear armour that looks like that, it must be the fantasy equivalent of powered armour. Since he must wear it all the time, I would suggest the base be +1 mithral full plate, with a +2 enhancement bonus to strength and give him the endurance feat... As for that crazy looking sword with the tubes attached, +1 small adamantine greatsword, with a special feature that gives it fire damage equal to alchemist's fire, and any opponent hit with it has a chance of being splashed with the alchemist's fire coming off of it, though once a person was lit up, there wouldn't be a cumulative damage effect with other hits, each time would just have a different duration, with the longest current duration being used...
