I’m a guy in my mid-30s, interested in joining a group of adult RPGers in Northern Virginia who meet weekly or a couple times a month. I definitely favor plot, setting, and character over min-maxing and rules lawyering and am flexible about game system, although the rules sets I’m most interested in and familiar with are d20, True20, and Savage Worlds (and maybe GURPS). Setting-wise, I especially like Eberron, Star Wars, and Midnight, but I’m up for almost any setting or genre except costumed superheroes (which always struck me as a bit silly). I have some ideas for a homebrew pulp/dark fantasy game set in the 1930s bouncing around in my head and may wish to GM that someday, but for now I’m just interested in being a player. If people are interested, I can host games at my house in Falls Church, and if things work out well, my wife may be interested in joining the group too. I also possess at least rudimentary social skills, bathe regularly, etc.
