I'm looking for players interested in playing Astonishing Swordsmen and Sorcerers of Hyperborea (AS&SH). If you are not yet familiar with AS&SH, it's an AD&D-1e derivative that has the feel of old school AD&D with a distinct flavor of it's own. The setting is a pulp sword and sorcery world influenced by the work of Robert E. Howard, H. P. Lovecraft, and Clark Ashton Smith. People live in fragmented city states surrounded by a harsh wilderness full of dangerous beasts, both domestic and alien. The land is littered with ancient cities, dark subterranean caves, and demonic temple ruins ripe for exploration.
This is a gritty sandbox style campaign where players choose their own path. PCs are expected to explore and manage resources. PCs will also need to manage conflict carefully as death is always an option. All players are welcome regardless if you're new to the game, or are a seasoned veteran.
